This is the finished product~! This took me many, many hours to complete and I truly hope that I win. I desperately need a new graphic tablet (a large portion of this drawing was done with a foreign generic tablet that was bought from a computer show). ***PLEASE +FAV!***

Mediums: Prismacolor colored pencils, Copic pen for inking, Photoshop CS4 for some touchups and recoloring, and bandages!

The text reads: "Love is... letting the words spill out from one heart to another. It is opening up even when it hurts. It is trust. It is exposing your vulnerabilities. It is always putting that person first. It is compromise. It is understanding. It is painful. It is patching up broken pieces. It is doing anything just to see them smile! It is taking chances. It is falling for them more every day. It is wanting to be a better person just for them. It is seeing the world through new eyes. It is standing by them no matter what. It is for better or worse. It is seeing two dreams come true."

Love is one of the things that I am truly passionate about. To me, love is everything. I am the most hopeless romantic ever, so I knew I had to enter this contest. After many varying sketches for this contest, I was having a spat with my boyfriend over something silly, and started to draw a broken heart. But then we made up and the drawing just kind of evolved. It's the result of a huge mesh of feelings I was having, and I actually feel quite good about it. :]
