And realized how freakin' LONG I've had this DA account. I looked through my old pictures and friends, and I can't believe some of the things that are on here and who still uses theirs. Also, please hit me up if we haven't chatted in a while! I don't remember who half of the people I'm watching/who watch me are (woohoo good English at 4am), sooo yeah. On a side note, I can't believe my Peco drawing from Ragnacrack has more views than anything. Seriously?!

Another side note: I have a Facelessbook fan base now. Look me up under "Something Creative". Sorry, I just could not live with myself naming it "The Art of Stacey" or anything with a gratuitous amount of cheese. Generally, I plan on updating my art to both.. but since more people use Facelessbook, I hope to use my group to maybe gain some views on my DA account and/or sell some sweet paintings (or whatever else).

Check out my last journal entry or my fan page to see commission details and prices! And don't be afraid of friending me, I lurve friends! :3

Hello all! I just wanted to say I'm still alive. I've been drawing and not uploading a lot, mostly due to exhaustion/laziness. But now summer is here and I actually have time so that means.. I am back to doing commissions!

My work has been featured/commissioned in: billboards, public bus logos, t-shirts, band logos, production posters, illustrations for a fantasy novel, the Fowler Center art museum, The Crestiad comics (Cedar Crest College's newspaper), and much more!

I can draw in any style, such as comic/anime (including chibis!), caricatures, realism, abstract, anything. I even sew and have made very cute stuffed animals in the past. I also have made jewelery, and I can work with small clay projects upon request.

Mediums I can use: digital (for which I use Photoshop CS2), acrylic paint, oil paint, watercolor paint, Prismacolor colored pencils, Prismacolor pastels, Prismacolor markers, Pitt Pens (shades of black/gray), fine-tip pens for line drawings, a multitude of pencils, anything else previously listed, etcetc...

***Also, I am GREAT at doing fan art of video games and anime, it's my favorite. I love character drawing, and it is probably my specialty!***

Cost (this is where it gets hard) :
Any small works I do range from $5-$10. This includes 4x6 paintings, small digital media (avatars, signatures, etc), pencil drawings, simple line drawings (like chibis or small caricatures)

Medium works range from $15-$20. The portrait in my gallery of Princess Di was sold for $15 and was on a 12x16 inch canvas. Black and white paintings of around that size will fall into this cost range. Add color for $5 more. What would also fall into this range is a digital line drawing, or a colored/inked traditional drawing. Mostly anything 8.5x11-12x16 inches falls in here. Or a small stuffed animal.

Large works range a lot.. from about $30-$50. This would include something like the 24x36" simple colored painting I'm working on right now ($30). Price will vary by size and complexity of the subject matter you choose.

Very large works range a lot as well. Like I said, it all depends on what you want. The painting I did, "AWESOME" in my gallery, was 4 feet by 3 feet and I sold that for $130 including material costs. I can't really even give a price range, it all really depends.

If there is something I didn't list or forgot, please don't hesitate to ask me about it!

Well, you know how yesterday I said that I wanted a Wacom art tablet, like, soooo bad? Today I got one! It's not a Wacom, but it is awesome nonetheless. And it's all thanks to my boyfriend's awesome grandpop. I started coloring the "Assassin Cross Cutie" with the tablet because people seemed to like that sketch for some reason. Also, I decided to finish coloring the drawing of me and Noel. It's so gosh darn good. I really want to color the one of me and Katie, too.

So now I've fallen haphazardly into the world of digital media. It actually isn't as hard as I thought it'd be to draw with the tablet. Although, I am in the habit of being able to turn my real sketch pad sideways and now I have to do everything straight on until I figure out some way around that (I will, trust me).

I really want to go to Otakon. I've been looking at all my friends' profiles and stuff and I keep seeing how they're going and their cosplays and sajfkjfnkf I want to go sososososooso bad. But this will be the first year I can't :[ It's very sad, yes, but I really don't have the money this year. I need a car so I'm not spending any money on anime until I get one. Le sigh.

And seriously, even better than ever! I upped alllll my new worthy drawings since senior year. Even though I abstain from looking at the pictures I've drawn of myself with exes, I upped those anyway for the purpose of everyone to see how much better I've gotten at drawing MEN! Booya! They actually look more like men nooow~

So anyway. Hopefully I'll be upping pictures whenever I start/finish them from now on. I'm officially an art (therapy) major now, so I want to get this going again!

Also, I'm currently addicted to World of Warcraft. I really want to draw a picture of my sweet undead mage. Just thought I'd put that out there.

And all this is possible because of my spiffy NEW SCANNER! Most of the new stuff is from last year, save the huge one I have posted at the top of my profile. I just finished that one today, and I am very proud of it xD. It needs a background. I wish there were a class on how to bullshit a decent background, because I still dread doing them.

Someone buy me a Wacom drawing pad. ::wants to become technologically advanced:: I got Photoshop, now all I need is the pad. Please? ;_; Hehe.

Mmyep. So I posted a few sketches today that are fairly new, but pretty darn old. I'll start posting new stuff again soon.. I'm just so lazy. But I see DA has a better uploading system now so I'll have more reason to update! Woohoo! And also lmao @ that lust icon. Oh baby.
Well let's see. Currently I'm working on a pic of my Ragnarok assassin in my sketchbook. She's gonna be at WoE, along with a bunch of my guildmates, looking bored. I'm also working on a pic of Jer's wiz as his 99ing present (hope to god he doesn't read this and if he does, he doesn't TELL me he's read it and acts surprised anyway), which is actually turning out pretty well. I just have to finish drawing his pants and coloring the cape, do a little shadowing (which is hard without photoshop), aaaand it's done. I'm still deciding on whether to color in my WoE pic just with pencils (that's what it's in right now), with all color, or do a mix of both - like color my sin, everyone else pencil or my sin in pencil and everyone else color. I'm really leaning toward the everyone but my sin in color option, but I'm not sure. Suggestions are appreciated :3.
Welllll yep. This is where I post my crappy drawings and writing. I do anime art, fantasy/romance fictional writing, and I'm an ex-phototographer (which I hope to pick up again once I get my own digital camera), and lots of poetry (which I rarely post publicly). The four pictures I have up now were all made in the beginning/mid 2005, I just recently took pics of them. What I'm working on now is another Ragnarok fanart of my assassin and my boyfriend's knight.. riding a peco! Oh baby, oh baby. I'm also working on a full action-pose pic of my assassin, and a picture of Geneva from my book, Liquid Harmony. If I start getting reviews on LH, I'll post the sequel I'm working on.

If LH is too hard reading on here (I know I sure had a hard time finding the chapters), I have the chapters separated in my livejournal version of it at: [link] .
